Authenticate To Active Directory
1. To log in to Suse on a Windows Network you will need to configure Windows Domain Membership through Yast.
2. Open Yast and Select Network Services, then Double Click on DNS and Hostname, change the settings to point to your DNS which you have setup for Active Directory.
3. You can see here on Active Directory that the Domain is also named interop.loc.
4. Now still in Yast in Netwrok Services, Double Click on Windows Domain Membership
5. Now when you log in you can log in with your AD credentials. With opensuse 10.2 you can log in by putting in for username domain\username and then your password.
6. Here you can see Suse computer already authenticated to Active Directory.
